When I fell I went up to 10 mgs.Of course then I got COVID and still on 10 mgs.Do I need to start over with a slow taper all over again?Like 9.5 for a month and then taper to 9.I keep going backwards. Thanks for your help!

As you’ve been on increased dose for about a month, then obviously you cannot drop back down as quickly as normal after a flare. Maybe try dropping 1mg a month initially and see how that goes… if you think that’s working, then maybe that will be okay until 7mg, then revert to 0.5mg per time.

But you’ll just have to try it and see if it works.

After a month at 10mg it is a bit much to drop back to where you were but there is no reason not to try 2mg now and see how you get on? If that feels too much, 1mg at a time down to 7mg.
