I’ve been dealing with this PMR business for so long, it just felt like an ok idea to just get off the pred.

Thank you for giving me cause to reevaluate my decision about ending pred use.

After reading every one of your posts…I know you are right. You all have been my guides over these years and everything I’ve learned has come through your contributions and wisdom. I really don’t need the complications that can come from stupid decisions,… like cold turkey stopping my Pred dose.

I’ll go take the rest of todays dose, to equal 5 mg for the day..l., and tomorrow, I’ll draw up a more measured schedule for reduction. Yes, I know how to do it… I just didn’t want to screw around anymore.

Thank you all for your wisdom, and pardon my lapse of smart.

After over eight years myself on pred, totally get the thought about getting off it but this is a much better decision. Maybe its the opioids temporarily clouding your judgement! 💐Hope surgery is successful. Speedy recovery. Let us know how things go.
