Slightly elevated liver enzymes

Been on MTX and Preds for a few years. My liver tests come back slightly elevated but stay in that range. I have reduced both meds slowly and I am now down to 12.5 on MTX and 6.5 on the Preds. My Dr. does not seem very concered about the liver enzymes and my PMR is under good control. Should I be concerned or is the normal?

As long as liver readings are within range and being monitored regularly then no point in worrying needlessly… unless there’s a sudden change.

Now you have asked the question you can see related posts…

Good news on PMR being well controlled. What we like to hear. 😊

MTX can cause raised liver markers but they have a threshold that it must stay below. If it is below that - they won't get too concerned.
