This info from the Michael J. Fox institute might be of interest to other followers of this site. The topic is dealing with the pain associated with Parkinson's disease (PD). Perhaps there is some advice relevant to PMR- from which I have suffered for more than a decade. In my circle of long standing friends in Canada and abroad, I know a half dozen or more with PD- I'm the only one to have drawn PMR and GCA as my longstanding medical curses.

Best of luck. FYI :

While evidence is immerging that the immune system plays some role in Parkinson's disease, it is far too soon to call it an "autoimmune malady".
