having spent nearly two years on Pred thinking I had PMR . All credit to my rheumatologist who has been very thorough.
It is amazing how symptoms can mimic other arthritic conditions. This forum has actually been very useful and supportive, but I suppose I must now say goodbye and research a new condition which unfortunately will not burn itself out. Hard to get my head around but onwards and upwards.
Thank you to you wonderful dedicated people ..I will miss your daily wise words and wicked humour. The support and reassurance you provide is invaluable to so many.

Sorry to hear your new diagnosis. There are a few members on here who have the same, so please stick around -and I’m sure they’ll reach out to you with advice.
And nothing to say you cannot still enjoy our wicked humour😊
No need to leave - many aspects of living with any rheumatological condition are similar and anyone can be a member. You wouldn't be the only person not with PMR specifically.
When someone talks about PMR that doesn't fit the general presentation we do often identify something that points in another direction - and AS comes up quite often. Would be good to have someone who can explain the differences they felt and knows about current differences in management. I know a lot of the theory but haven't the personal experience.
Do please tell us more about the journey to get the correct diagnosis.
