Totally Floored

I’ve been trying to reduce from 7 to 6.5 for weeks now, using DSAS method, after six days on 6.5, thought I’d nailed it.

When I got up today, I had pains everywhere, felt sick, dizzy, metallic taste in my mouth, exhausted.

I have taken a 1mg steroid, and an hoping this will help, I’ll then go back to 7.

I’m away for a rest 🤞🤞

Am I doing the right thing?

If it turns out to be a virus, I would follow the sick day rules for sure. Double your dose for a week or so. Then start all over again. It sounds more viral than a flare that,in my experience, tends to creep up on you. Bear in mind all the advice on your Adrenal function. It so complicates this stage of our taper. See FAQs.

Agree with others, could be something else going on , and if it is just an extra 1mg isn’t going to do much….
