I have also experienced a lack of interest in numb toes!
And every time I get below 4mg, even a tiny bit, the DF gets even worse. Currently on 3.5mg, and get very dizzy. I guess that some of us get to quite a low dose of pred before we have adrenal problems.
Yes If this wasn't a second time round for me I qould be even more alarmed.I had a repeat of Temporal Arteritis. It took me 4 years to come off prednisolone the first time. The Drs never told me I could have a relapse.2 years later it reappeared. I was very upset knowing I had to go on prednisolone again.
Prednisolone caused terrible steroid myalgia for me initially among all the other side effects like cushings syndrome etc. Also another heart attack .Currently recovering from a perforated bowel that happened last year out of the blue just when I thought I was on the homewood run so to speak.
I hope I can heal my autoimmune problem completely.
You really are a survivor! I don't think drs ever tell you what might go wrong in case it becomes a nocebo. I was very thankful to a consultant last year for telling me the truth. Helps to know how to direct your thinking.
Thanks Sharitone.Yes Iam definitely a survivor and have learnt about healing and self care during this time.My lovely husband passed away during this time as well so that increased my stress levels.SO Yes It's onward and upward this year.😊
