Quick question

I have an appointment for a flu jab this coming Saturday but have had a flare last weekend which has meant an increase in Pred. I actually managed to SEE a doctor who is referring me to Consultant because I’m feeling so rotten and he’s “not sure what’s going on”! Anyway, my question is, would it still be ok to go ahead with the jab?

I had annual flu vaccines all through my GCA , so at considerably higher doses than you are on with no issues.. so I would say, yes go ahead.

But you should be asked before the vaccine is administered how you are feeling - so that may decide whether it can go ahead or is postponed to a later date.
