Raised ESr and CRP?

A couple of months ago I wrote that PMR had returned after a years absence. Doc insisted on blood test before pred. She called to say results normal. I checked on NHS app, a cursory glance confirmed this. But as I was so insistent about symptoms she agreed to prescribe.

I've just checked results again today. Plethora of test results on there. Some I'd never heard of but all normal.

I checked again....No ESR....No CRP!!!

So I'll never know whether I had raised markersnor not.

However I've got pred and all is well.

Disgusting - and I would call her out on it. But you have your pred and I assume it has done the job - so symptoms trumped lab results anyway.

I will! And yes, pred trumped lab results on day 1!
