Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice on the timing for taking my Pred. I’m currently on 1mg and take it at 2am, in the hope that it’s at it lowest level by midnight the following day which should help nudge my Adrenal gland to get working. My question is how crucial is the 2am timing and if I moved it to 7am will I slow down the Adrenals?
I’d like to be able to sleep the whole night!

Shouldn't be a problem - all pred is out of the system after about 20 hours maximum, 5 half lives. 1mg is a tiny amount anyway so after even 4 half lives there isn't going to be enough present to affect the trigger at midnight.

Maybe have day or two taking it at 5am or so but it is only the same as forgetting to take a dose or having to delay a bit for a blood test, You'd hope that if you are fine at one, the PMR is either gone or at a very low activity.
