Dr Ben Mulhearn who recently gave a talk at one of our PMRGCAuk Week webinars is conducting some research relating to PET-CT scans and looking for patient responses through a short questionnaire. If you can help him, please see below.

Have any of you ever had a PET-CT scan?

We have a very interested paper currently being written looking at PET-CT scans in GCA and PMR patients, and things on the scans which might be missed but may well be important.

Thanks, very well considering. I shall send a report after my rheumatologist draws conclusions at my next appointment Aug10th. His current thinking is 'eye stroke', possibly from a clot, and the need now to protect the good eye.
