Hi just wondering does anyone know that when reducing preds ,and as I have copd can reducing make you more breathless as I am ,wondering if it has anything to do with adrenal glads that I have read about on here ,sometimes I feel sick ,but it does pass

Hello there. Looking at your other posts it seems you were on 12mg 7 days ago. Have you recently dropped by 1mg in the last few days? When did the breathlessness start in relation to that? What brings it on? Activity or doing nothing.

Yes I have dropped another 1 looking back I think breathless stared as soon as I started dropping

If you have some inflammation associated with your copd, then pred may soothe the inflammation and improve your symptoms, As you reduce the dose, that might mean the inflammation starts up again. Pred also improves the effect of some bronchodilator drugs.

I'm always slightly inflamed so I can see what you are saying see that happening
