US based PMR website

I came across this US based website that was being discussed on a PMR/GCA Facebook forum and was surprised at how accurate, accessible and informative it was:

pmrandyou.com

If I’m late to the party and you all already know about it, then apologies!

Not personally, but does say this -

This site is intended for use by U.S. Residents only.

So not much use to most people on her…and also backed by Pharma company - not suggesting that’s all bad.

Yes - just wondering what Sanofi are bringing onto the market for PMR!!!! @piglette - didn't you mention Sanofi recently?

Ah - Kevzara/sariluminab. Subtle aren't they!!!! It is only approved in the US - that's why it is for US residents only ...

Absolutely - it was interesting to see that whilst it was informative and supportive, it was US exclusive.

They aren't allowed to advertise drugs directly to patients in other English-speaking countries.

When I saw it was by a pharma company I also wondered what they were up to!

I’m in the US and looked at it. It’s basically a brochure that I’d find in a doctor’s office. Or a brochure that a patient would get from their dr. to read over. It has good information and questions to ask your doctor. It also has links to the arthritis and Vasculitis sites. I agree though that when pharmas advertise I’m suspicious.

I had a quick look around but it is nowhere near as superb as this destination. If anyone is flogging something they will always bump up their products. I like it here. Bit of humanity :)
