Hi, I’m currently on six mg, have been for about six weeks, was hoping to try 5.5, but I’ve had terrible pains in my legs and feet for the past two night.
Should I try splitting my dose to three and three, im currently taking six at four o’clock. Or should I go back to seven?
Many thanks

Mmm - but you have to bear in mind that your circadian rhythm has really been put through the mill. And that has an effect on all sorts of things, especially pain.
Are they muscle cramps causing the pain? That could be a sign of magnesium deficiency. This can show up when we take calcium supplements as calcium kind of takes over, so to restore th balance you might benefit from a magnesium supplement (taken at a time separate from any calcium you may have been prescribed) or a form absorbed through the skin, as in a soak in a bath (or even footbath) in Epsom salts.
Oh dear, that does sound more like nerve pain. Can you experiment with different positions? I have quite an arangement of pillows now, which I think basically are to keep my arthritic neck stable at night!
Doesn’t have to be exact when tapering, it just needs to be smaller than previous dose, and the differing amount day to day when at 0.5 or 0.25 is minuscule.
