I think we have had a couple who dropped in briefly - obviously didn't like us!!

My son lives in Northern Ireland. I'll print off some info about the charity, send it to him and ask him to take it to his surgery for the noticeboard. Mind you, the waiting lists for appointments over there would make your eyes water!!

I was at my surgery this morning where the receptionist said her sister has PMR and is suffering badly. I suggested she recommends her sister joining PMRGCAUK and she said, "Oh, no. She's the type who puts up with things and suffers in silence." 🤦🏻‍♀️

Before Covid it was 18 months and more - I assume it is worse now?

Dear lord!!!!!!! Suppose it saves money - you could be dead by then!!

I suggested to my daughter I'd have come over to London when she goes down for her birthday treat (the big 4-0) in December if they'd invited me - she immediately said "you don't want to come here!"

She works in the middle of it! I only meant for a couple of days and my insurance covers repatriation if I need hospital treatment! The level of cover I have is after 3 days but the top level is immediate where possible.

She must have great strength in more ways than one 😇.

I asked if she still existed the other day: "Work, eat, sleep. Rinse and repeat ..."

How she and her colleagues keep up with everything is mind-boggling! They are certainly worth their weight in gold (some hope!😏).

Four years for herniated discs!

Hi Thezigggy,

We did have a Support Group in Lisburn, which was really successful. However, the Group Organiser became unwell during lockdown and was no longer able to run the group. If you would like to set up a group - it can be as straightforward as meeting in a cafe once a month - with our support, do message me and we can contact people on our database who live close by to where you are, to find out whether they would be interested in meeting up.

123-go, I can send you some posters to put up in your son's surgery and/or local libraries if that works for you. Again, message me and we can see what we can do.
