oh Brears that’s a shock!! Hopefully GP is just being super cautious! Stay positive and keep as calm as you can. Hugs xx

Before my diagnosis of PMR I had tests to check if I had a cancer. It was worrying but had to be ruled out

I had tests for cancer due to my inflammation markers being very high. The doctor said “this could be cancer” I went “agggghhhhh!”. They never found out the cause in the end.

Hi Piglette, was the inflammation due to PMR ? On my diagnosis I was 515. No wonder I was in so much pain. I'm glad I'm not like some on the forum who have normal CRP/ESR. Good indication for me. Just waiting for blood test results that registra took over two weeks ago....like pulling teeth getting result these days.

I have never discovered why my inflammation markers are so high. The GP says it is just me!! A medical diagnosis meaning we haven’t a clue. You beat me on your reading my maximum was 412 and my GP said that should be in the Guiness Book of records, it obviously has been beaten by you.

I hadn't got a clue when rheumy told me that it was so high, on what numbers should read. Why would we all the time we're healthy....sadly, not the case these days. But, I shouldn't moan as I've said numerous times before there are far worse of than myself. Now to put my feet up for a while as finished all the work for today. Next job will be getting dinner around 6:00pm....haven't a clue what to cook for tonight. Fed up of food !!

I have just looked at the garden and thought it is time to plant some bulbs, so I came in again and did nothing!

You sound like me. Every good intentions but nothing comes of them. I've been so busy today and finally finished. Hubs keeps saying to me come and sit...I'm a figet today and want to do a little bit more. I was given some lovely big apples last Tuesday from my friends tree in her garden. Now to prepare a nice apple crumble

I think I am just lazy! My next door neighbour has loads of apples. I was going to do baked apples and perhaps an apple snow. I suppose I could do apple chutney too. I was hoping for green tomatoes from someone but they did not materialise.

The crumble was scrummy
