If you followed my posts 2mths ago you will know I was suffering from gerd and dreadful fatigue...moving on.. Doc finally listened to me about the apixaban as that was when things went hay wire with gerd. Off apixaban 10th June slowly improvements. Days varied, some good some still reflux, light headed, tired, often better later in day.

I saw a consultant endocrinologist privately and the tests he ordered showed very low B12 and vitD. That was then addressed with a series of B12 injections, early July and vit D tablets. I also slow dropped to 6.5mg pred again. Improved days, getting back to some normal tasks and more energy later in day but still hot flushes on wakening and after eating feeling good by last B12 injections 10 days ago and managed to get out shopping etc

So thought we had cracked it but no. Back to wiped out, zombie head, worse hot flushes and wanting to sleep. Doc has started me on a 2nd course B12, put an urgent on endoscopy.

I am now wondering if this is indeed due to adrenal insufficiency as I am on 6.5mg.

If it is should I start another drop to 6mg?

I am somewhat distraught with it all. - the consultant did say re B12 that it could take some time and it was a case of wait and see.

He did not seem to think that pmr came into it.

As always your thoughts and experiences much appreciated.

Why drop when you don’t feel well? Six mgm is in adrenal territory. Give your body time.

Thanks K. You are right. I guess I am all over the place with my thoughts as docs not seeming to get to bottom of it.
