Hi Well I have finished my 7days isolation.Still coughing but getting better slowly.I reduced my pred back to 5mg as Dr said I .have been quite headachey and a bit depressedMy homecare people have deserted me completely. So much for their support. I'm looking for a new company now.Not easy when you're tired unwell ,and vision impaired.
At least I can sit in my sunroom and watch the ducks and swans on the lake in front of me. I've got lillies too.Just need something tasty to eat Unfortunately I can't do much reading because of my sight.I miss my husband so much. Its getting close to the time of his passing.

Sorry you are poorly at a difficult emotional time. I have not had covid but read that it can take some recovering from, so be as kind to yourself as you can. You are bound to feel down but it seems you can also get some solace from your view, which sounds lovely. Hugs
Sorry to hear you’re not in a good place, in many way. …and it’s always difficult around significant anniversaries- even when you are feeling well.
Enjoy your view, talk to the wildlife if it helps - and maybe get some audio books - all you need is the App on iPhone or iPad. I have used since lost right eye through GCA one in 2012 that is used by local libraries (across the world) - so it costs nothing.
Virtual hugs 🌸 from one in a similar situation - my significant date is in 2 weeks.
Thanks.Listening to music is good.I can watch TV a bit.Its nice seeing the wild life .I just moved here a few months ago.Big job when you have a "few " medical issues but I did it..My daughter is closer but she has Covid too.
These anniversaries can be so sad. I am sorry that this one finds you low and feeling unwell and abandoned. Is there no one in your life able to sort you out with the carers that you need? Yet your post is peppered with positives, like your lake and ducks and swans and you are hungry for something good to eat. Any chance of getting some good food delivered. Australia does really good food in my experience. Consider Audio books, they are great these days, especially in bed I find. All is not lost, you already talk yourself out of this down period. Let us know how you go. Jane xx
Thanks Jane.Im trying to sort things out.Not easy when you are vision impaired. Things are that much more difficult to do.ILL just do what I can I guess and then have a rest.
