Private referral.

I'm thinking of going privately to see a Rheumatologist as I am unable to see anyone before Jan 2023 through the NHS. Can anyone recommend a Consultant. I live in Derbyshire but am prepared to travel the length of the country to find a good one!

When l moved from Wales to Telford, England there was no Rheumatologist in Post so l asked my GP for a private referral to someone who knew about PMR - l saw him at the Nuffield & was transferred to the NHS as l needed the support of NHS Rheumatology Team as l was to go back on MTX

It turns out my Consultant was based at an Orthopaedic Hospital so l am more than satisfied.

jinasc has a good list of Great Consultants but it’s always worth looking close to home if possible.
