Good morning people , its been a while since I posted, so just a little update.
Got a Cardiology appointment today all be it over the telephone but hey ho, the old dicky ticker seems to be working ok which is good, so maybe being discharged I'm back training, no where close to what I was doing, but its ok, when little old ladies cycle past me with there basketsfull of bread on the front and me in full Lycra looking like the only gay( no woke ) in the village.
Also got an appointment for the Rheumatologist early next month, still not seen him but he has introduced Methrotrexate 15mg a week whilst reducing the PREDS by 5mg a month until I reach 15mg then it will be revised. At the moment I'm on 25mg reduced from 40mg and everything seems to be going ok just the odd day when fatigued kicks in.
Still in mourning now the mighty Burnley were relegated, we move onwards and forwards.
Take care people remember PMRGCA isn't just for Christmas PFTTT. Stay safe.

Good to hear from you, I’d been wondering how you were. Glad you’re going well. Don’t worry about the little old ladies - I get passed by them too and I am one!!
Pity about Burnley FC, I had high hopes you’d stay up. Maybe you’ll bounce back? (Bit like you?)
I was gutted enough at Liverpool not winning the league, there were just those few minutes in the final match when we were winning, and Man City were incredibly losing to Villa! Stevie G’s revenge? Not to be….
It is a drug used mainly for rheumatoid arthritis but for some patients with PMR it helps them reduce their pred dose. It is either tablets or an injection once a week. It works very well for some patients but by no means all. HOW it does it isn't really understood but it is hoped it will get a bigger effect out of the dose so you take less pred.
Thank you getting to understand more each day just need sum advice in last two days I have been getting tingling feeling on my face is it any to do with my PMR or steroids
Honestly can't say - unlikely to be steroids I'd have thought but who knows. You would be better asking this as a new thread - others may have some ideas but won't see this here.
Sometimes think the Championship more exciting, not that I know too much about football....Glad things are going ok for you, you'll soon be able to pass those little old ladies!....
Little old ladies cycling past... .made me laugh... and reminded me of a friend who, when we had just finished the London Marathon, complained that he had been overtaken by a man in bear suit carrying a ladder! Ahhh, good memories.
