Hi everyone- i started having inflammation on my supratrochlea nerve on left eye (u can see skin inflammed) at the same time i noticed my left temporal artery inflamed - the temporal artery comes and goes about once a month - hurts my temple when is swollen n i had scalp pain close to where i tye my hair. I am feeling now dry eye on left eye that the supra trochlea nerve is swollen. Doctors don’t do shit- i went to get my eyes check n good- blood test for gca and levels are good- brain ct scan good - im 42 so they claim is not cga. Will do mri soon with dye- been on gabapentin but no steroids.

Did anyone had with GCA also swollen on supeatrochlea nerve on one eye? I can’t seem to find any info on this to see if this is related- pls help i am panicking!

I've been on this forum more than two years and have not seen mention of it. That your supratrochlear nerve is being affected says SOMETHING is wrong. Try to stay steady and keep looking for answers. Your medical experts will get to the bottom of it eventually. In the meantime, do what you can do to avoid making it worse: don't smoke, avoid alcohol and (the really tough one) remain calm. If it is GCA, it will get discovered. but remember that there are other possible causes. It could turn out to be a short-term, benign situation.

Keep us posted! Wishing you a quick resolution.
