It has been 8 weeks since i stopped my daily morning dose of 7mg of Pred, and started my 20mg morning dose and 10mg afternoon dose of HC.........

All hasnt been too bad with a few aches and pains.......However, 2 weeks ago i started to get PMR like symptoms, these got worse to the point where i thought i have to do something or it may get out of controll......so i doubled the daily dose of HC........after 2 days the symptoms cleared ,so dropped the dose back to normal.

Now whether it was PMR or an Adrenal thing i dont know, but things appear normal now, (well what is normal ),..........

So, today i went for the blood tests to start the adrenal checking thingo .........

1/ Cortisol blood test...............

2/ U & E blood test ...........

3/ ACTH blood test.........(.not to be confused with an ACTH stimulation test )..

Will see the Endo bloke next week for the results and see what comes next in

the battle to get the Adrenal glands operative ( hopefully ) again after my long

term Pred battle..................
