I cannot seem to get a straight answer. I was advised not to have the booster jab because of an upcoming operation on my ears ( Im falling to bits for goodness sake) my question is while I still have this blood clot s it safe to have the booster jab. I am up to date with the other covid jabs ( I had them before all this happened).

Good, hopefully he will have necessary information as cardio specialist.

I would be guided by my surgeon and the Prednisalone question too. Good luck with your operation!

No-one here with the necessary information to say yeah or nay I'm afraid.

I'm on a NOAC (Pradaxa) for atrial fibrillation so clots are a risk for me but no-one said not to have jabs. We only get 3 though - no further boosters so far.

I think if you have been advised not to have the vaccination I would listen to the advice.

And what was their ground for dissuading you not to have the booster?

No reason given just advice.

No contraindications to receive mRNA booster shot. May want to postpone surgery 14days following jab.
