A pain in the vein!

Had a lovely day in Exeter with friends but while we were shopping I got some pain in the veins of my wrist and lower arm. Didn’t last long and didn’t return but has left me wondering what it was about and whether it’s just another joyous side effect of PMR and/or Pred. Has anyone had anything similar?

No, I haven’t experienced this Mazeyq….

Maybe someone has? Could it have been influenced by the cold weather?

Maybe. Was just a bit disconcerting but didn’t stop the shopathon! So many odd pains crop up it’s hard to know what’s connected to the disease and what’s new. Hey ho could be a lot worse!

Hi Mazeyq - yes and never been able to get an answer or it doesn't happen at suitable time when consulting Rheumie as often the case.Fairly certain now it has been the beginning of ongoing inflammation around joints of wrists & fingers manifesting as osteo-arthritis ~

Thanks Megams, do hope it’s not the start of that but guess I’ll just have to wait and see. My grandmother and great aunts were absolutely riddled with rheumaticky things, I dread to think how much they suffered without all the drugs we have available to us so have to think myself lucky really 🙂
