The following article discusses the effect of measles on the immune system, causing the body to ‘kill off‘ most if not all of the previously acquired immunity to other invaders previously admitted to the body. Part way through it mentions the prospect of resetting a ‘wayward’ immune system that occurs in those with an autoimmune disorder, but only, most likely, if the body encounters measles after developing the likes of PMR. Interesting read, and also has certain implications of SARS-Cov2.
