GCA returns

I have managed to keep off pred for about a year, but the dreaded GCA has returned. Now on 40 a day. My post is to ask you lovely people if it’s ok to have my booster covid jab. Feeling bit off at the moment, but hope the steroids will help me feel better.

Can I just clear something in my mind. Were you on pred for GCA for 2 years? Where you also on Actemra or any other steroid sparing agent?

You say you managed 1 year without pred - have I read that correctly?

No just pred, came off about year ago. My GP thinks I am having a flare of GCA..

you must think so too Kyrenia. How bad was it originally and how bad now. I am very sorry it has returned.
