You look really comfortable~! When I get all my 'parts' on I look like the Michelin Man. I'm so glad it is working for you. Do you wear a covering on your leg before you put that on? That looks like a pretty solid formed boot~! Is it easy for you to put on yourself? π
Yes I wear my tights and a light weight sock. Easy to put on because it has a big zipper from toe to above my knee, only have to zip it down about half way to slip it on!! My hands could not handle putting on the support hose so this has been a lifesaver!π
Wow..that is great. Mine has less form and is a series of velcro closures down the whole leg....it is really becoming too much for my husband and I'm trying to get home health covered by my insurance and combine my therapy appointments at the house too. So far it looks like I would do better if I was a Medicaid recipient than private insurance. The insurance company is willing but the agencies don't want to deal with Medicare!! If the disease doesn't get me....this paperwork and insurance will~! π
You have to be a hound dog as far as the paper work is involved medicare and my supplement Mutual of Omaha are very slow but they do get the work done. The holdup seems to be the doctors office staff I was calling them every day, I do not think they hire enough employees to handle the paperwork and I let them know that when I have my appointments in a very nice way!! I can be a real pest when you get down to it, but you have to be anymore, there are too many people in the world now!! Hope you can work things out, keep telling them at your age you are going thru enough with the PMR and the stress is too much for you and your husband!!!!π
πͺπ»πͺπ» Yes!! First I have to figure out who cares~! π€π
I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK!!!
