I’m still on 15mg pred. And slowly tapering. I was going to go down to 13 next week Iv been on 15for 2 weeks. Is that to much down ?

Also is there an mg dose where one starts to loose foggy stoned head.

I’m walking about 20 mins every other day trying to slow build. I still get achy but nothing I can’t cope with. All advice is welcome. Thank you.

It may be fine - it may not be. Everyone is different and some can manage bigger steps down than others. Try it and if it doesn't feel right go back and try just 1mg at a time.

Personally I would wait four weeks to reduce normally unless I have had a flare when I may go up for a week or two and then start to drop back again to my original dose, usually with two drops.

I keep trying to go down from 12 and a half to 12!!!! Immediately notice a difference.. aches and more dizziness. Just got to give up for the moment! Still feel vague Covid symptoms after 6 weeks! Get tired so quickly! And I’m only 83!!!!

You have a bit of 'up, down and up again' history with Pred, haven't haven't you? If I were you I'd stay at 15mg for another two weeks and then reduce by 1mg per month. If you get to 10mg with no problems a slower taper after that may be advisable. As PMRpro says, everyone is different but hopefully as you reach lower doses the foggy head feeling will improve.
