Had a meeting with Rhumy yesterday. Well I thought it was with Rhumy but it turned out it was with a nurse. Rhumy was next door so there was much toing and froing. All I got was the usual "you must get off Pred more quickly" (I'm currently on 15 from 25) and suggested I try going to 10. I told her that there was more chance of winning this week's lottery with last weeks ticket than me tapering too quickly, causing a flare and, therefore, back to square one. So, neither of us gained anything from the meeting. Quite worrying really.

Very frustrating…..
Quite an arrogant attitude on the part of that Rheumatologist in my view. PMR is not always plain sailing. There is far more to it that just galloping off the only drug that helps. As we demonstrate here daily. Is your GP any better? Some on here have pretty switched on GP’s and that’s all we need.
Has the rheumatologist not heard of the numbers 14,13,12,11?🤣
