Carry on actemra injection while traveling in flight out of USA

My wife is under weekly course of actemra injection for GCA , she will be travelling to India next month for 2 months . Can she carry 8 injection with her in flight . Any one experience and guidance will help me lot .

You will find posts on this subject if you do a search. I bought a special medical cool box to keep my Actemra at temperature. I took advice from the people who deliver my Actemra. Look on your airline website about medication arrangements too. I think they will put it in the fridge for you. Take documentation with you that explains the prescription for Actemra. If the injection has to be administered on the flight, make sure you wait 30 minutes so it is at room temperature. I hope everything goes really well for you.

You can buy really good medicine cool boxes but it seems forward communication with the airline is key. What you do need to do is avoid the temp range of 2-8C being exceeded such as being over zealous with ice blocks. Once it is out of your sight in say, a fridge in the galley, make sure it isn’t going to be shunted about with other stuff or someone thinking lower the better and putting it right next to an ice block. Also, have you asked a pharmacist yet?
