Just be aware

Had dental work last week - thorough cleaning under my gums. Felt a mite uncomfortable once the anaesthetic wore off but put that down to the multitude of injections. However, yesterday woke up with acute pain that got worse during the day. No doubt I have an abscess - too early to speak to the Dentist - and it seems that all of us with a autoimmune disorder are at greater risk of developing an abscess following dental work. Now waiting for the Dentist to get up an, hopefully, get an urgent appointment to get it fixed. Not a happy camper at the moment.

If I go to the hygienist, I definitely refuse the water jet cleaner and have it done by hand, otherwise I have 1-2 weeks of gum inflammation.

Just off to the Dentist now. Hopefully pain relief is imminent.

I had some hygienist work done last year because of an inflamed gum from tartar build up - hate it with a passion and it was days before it felt right, But not as bad as that,
