I have it arranged at the hospital for 4 pm. I have been told not to take my pred (3mg) this morning. Seems like an awful long time from 9am yesterday. I’ll take it with me plus a banana to have straight afterwards. I hardly ever add a picture , here’s my hosta collection , lol 😁😁😁😁

Synacthen test today!
Ever mind the test 😉 how the Dickens do yours not get slugged? Mine look like lace after the damp summer. I was worried about the long gap between doses when I first had it at 4mg. I was fine and also went with a trusty banana and water to pop my Pred as soon as it was done.
Hi Snazzy, the hostas are all in pots and we have loads of frogs in the garden, they must eat them. Plus Monty Don says if the plants are healthy, for some reason, they are less likely to be eaten.😁 Thanks for the reassurance about the pred dose being so late👍 The base cortisol tests I’ve had have always been early morning .
We used to have a bountiful supply of frogs from our pond until newts and dragonfly larvae moved in. I don’t use slug pellets because thrushes hop in and we have the occasional hedgehog. The damp summer hasn’t helped. We had draught last year so the hostas were in much better shape by this time.
Our local forum gardener reckons organic pellets won't harm wildlife but best to check the label. Those thick, slimy trails are yuk!
Have lots of hostas....some planted, some in pots....those planted are variegated, eaten all over, but the others, bluish, never get eaten....they get so big, we have to separate and give them away...No pellets used, we have frogs, and hedgehogs...
My son has them, he has wet, clay soil, they never eaten!.....
Copper just beneath the rim of the pots. Slugs hate copper - don't ask why I don't know but it works and you can get a roll of copper around 1" in depth (know nothing about cm's)
I think you will be alright just like your lovely plants. Have a lie in that morning perhaps. Good luck!
I am incredibly impressed with your hostas. Prince Charles has an amazing collection of uneaten hostas at Highgrove. He has a load of place for thrushes around the area.
What a strange time to do a synacthen test - it is usually a morning thing!
Those are impressively slug-free hostas ...
I’m sat here in endrocrinology now! Had blood taken and jab ,now waiting for 30 mins to have second lot of blood taken😃💉 Cuppa and biscuits given 👍
