For the first time today i was seeing colours in my vision blues and reds and it lasted about 5 mins there was no pain is it anything to worry about.

Could be an ocular migraine, but get it checked out by a optician at least because it might be some damage to back of eye. Don't panic but needs checking as soon as practical.

It is probably nothing to be over-concerned about but Pastit is quite correct - get it checked by your local MECS centre:

explains the procedure. It saves going to A&E or the GP (where they don't have the same technology available) and you can make an appointment to be seen.

Hi PMRpro sorry to be slow in replying to you .The opticians couldnt see any problems and i had drops in my eyes so everything was enlarged and she gave me the all clear.Saw a rheumatologist last monday told her what has been going on since april and she thinks the pred is not doing me any good and has told me to reduce to 12.5mg i told her i cant do that much of a jump so im reducing to 13.5mg .she said my inflammation levels were normal.Im still getting twinges of pain in neck shoulder and top of arm and achy and heavy thighs and shoulders i keep worrying the inflammation is still there .wish i could stop worrying.

Of course your inflammation levels are normal if you are on enough pred!!! I suppose how you define the pred not doing you any good - it;s doing a LOT of good if it is managing your PMR symptoms
