This past week I've had excruciating pain from the top of my leg down to my ankle in my left leg . Sometimes I have pain in my butt cheek 🙃 and it then travels painfully down my leg . The pain seems to start eveytime I walk and I end up in so much pain . A young doctor in A&E said it was my knee which showed to have arthritis in when first diagnosed with schlerdoma I'm back today at my local doctors because the pain is constant and my quality of life has changed rapidly. Trouble is not all doctors are trained up enough on this immune disease which is a worry .

Did you mean to post here - this is PMRGCAuk forum, polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis. I don;t think I know anyone here with scleroderma.
I have GCA, AS, & heart issues. I had a similar problem but with both legs and it turned out to be piriformis syndrome. I hope you find out what is wrong and get better.
I was just reading your post and I had something very similar to you I was in so much pain 'I couldn't walkFirstly I went to the GP he really didn't have any answers - I went to a Physiotherapist and then a Myo Therapist for a few visits while I was being treated the pain went but after my appointments it came back with a vengeance I really know what you are going through - I was desperate went to my sons Chiropractor had two visits to him and he couldn't fix me and he suggested I have an MRI so back to the GP and got a referral for an MRI and guess what I had two cysts in my hip joint and he didn't have any answers for me. I came home and looked it up on the computer and they spoke about a hip replacement and I thought no way so I remember 20 years previous I had a spur in my foot and a Naturopath gave me some cream for it which I religiously rubbed in three times a day and believe it not that cream dissolved that spur and it has never grown back that it another complaint the GP didn't pick up. I rubbed the cream on the spot that was sore in my hip area three times when the pain started. no my pain I couldn't believe it I then got pain about a week or so later rubbed it in again and that was the last time two years ago. So I am convinced someone is looking after me. hope that I never have to go through that again Best of Luck
Wow thank you I went to my doctors yesterday one that hadn't read my files ? He said it was a nerve in the top of my leg stop co codemal increase my nortriptoline to 3 oh my god I've never felt so out of control of my own body 😅 I've been sick , stomach pains . Weird as they are obviously doing as they should opening up my blood vessels I knew the pain was in my leg but couldn't feel it , a friend said these were far too strong for . My normal use is one in the morning then one at night not all together ! What cream was it you used pleased as he took painkillers away I have none now.
