Leg pain

Diagnosed in November2020 , now on 6mg. Over the lasts 2 weeks if I sit on a hard chair after a few minutes I have pain in the backs of my thighs. Does anyone know why this is?

I had this for a while and I even got myself a pad to sit on (it didn't really work), but I no longer experience this problem, so hopefully, it's not permanent.

PMRPro mentioned that this is something called Piriformis Syndrome (I hope I am not quoting you incorrectly), which sometimes comes hand in hand with PMR.

You could try various stretching exercises with a roller or even a hard ball, Youtube has many videos on the subject.

I had this and buttock pain 😟 but it went over time. Not nice though.

It might be either compressing against a hard surface, the nerve or blood vessels or the muscle.

I always get pain in the back and sides of my thighs when I sit if my PMR is rumbling, usually when dose reducing. I can't sit on a hard/desk chair for long at all because of it.
