I have one 18" long - a shoe shop sold it to me many years ago. Many is the time I have been asked if I still use it..............the short answer is Yes - you can't have it 😘

I also have a stocking putter on - this was purchased when I snapped a tendon and needed to work out how to get socks and stockings on............that is still with me - just in case.

My husband bought one for me when I first had PMR and he saw how I struggled . Don't use it much now but am glad it's still there just in case I need it.

Have a look at this - mobilitysmart.co.uk/comfort...

There are plenty of different sites....just have a search.for mobility or sock/stocking aids.

Sock/stocking aids are not necessarily successful - depending on maual dexterity. If this is poor there can be problem getting the sock/stocking onto the aid!

I've used a long shoe horn for a few years now. Couldn't manage without it. Tights have been my nemesis, haven't worn them for the last 4 years as can't get them on!
