methylprednisolone may increase risk of catching COVID- MS study. Pred seems to help after you catch it though

I guess this just means continue with being cautious

I expect that makes sense, with our immunity suppressed and then it is such a useful drug with chest infections.

Within the UK at least the message is to carry on with the same level of shielding until a week after you have had the second shot. The vaccines aren't a licence for anyone to go out and about.
