Topical treatment for swelling of vocal folds

Hi all,

We all know about the inflammation and swelling we have with pmr and how steroid medication helps this ( amongst other symptoms). Anybody figured out a topical treatment which helps our vocal folds being less swollen, and with that improves our voice. ??? Rinsing with salt or whatever is proven to be helpful???? Thanks, me, singer!!!

I was too. PMR put paid to that! Enough pred makes it better but not perfect even now. Never tried anything else and it is probably too late now. Nowhere to sing now - choral music in the shower is not very practical ...

Thanks for reply...Aotearoa New Zealand is choir singing as never before, being very aware of the suffering in the rest of the world!
