Really pleased I have just got an appointment for a DEXA scan on 7th Feb, always assuming it happens of course given the state of Corvid at the moment.

...or even Covid.....prescriptive text at work again, unless you’re surrounded by rooks! 😂🤣

But seriously, hope it goes ahead.

Good news Bcol. Not long to wait at all. Really pleased for you. Have you still been going out for your 6am walk on the moors?

No I was latish today, only tend to do that time at weekends. During the week I get Hazel's lunch etc ready and make sure she gets off to work OK so don't usually get out until around 07:30 ish. Have been known to be out at 04:00ish midweek though. Hope you are OK and getting some sleep.

Really bad night last night. Awake all night. Its because I'm back above 10mg pred. Did the same last time. I know it'll improve as dose reduces though.

That's not good, hope you weren't stressing, you should have come on for a chat. Although I'm up early it's normally quite restful, but it was daughter in laws 30th today so I spent most of the night blowing up balloons with a gas bottle (dogs very unimpressed) and putting together and then up, various banners.

Wasn't stressing....just restless and couldn't nod off. Listened to the rain instead.!

Hazels lucky having you prepare her lunch. I won't tell my hubby or he'll expect me up early doing the same!😄

It's the least I can do. Life's hard enough as it is for her with fibromyalgia and being back in school.

Sorry to hear Rachel has fibromyalgia. My step sister has it too and I think out of the two, I'd rather have polymyalgia...at least there's treatment for PMR. My stepsister has found absolutely nothing that relieves her pain.

Your right there doesn't seem to be anything other than Tramadol which she very rarely resorts too. Her jobs pretty manic as well at the moment, as well as being the Pastoral Manager she is the DSL and looks after all CP and Safeguarding and add to that their SENCO has just left so in reality she is also being the school SENCO. Not surprising she is tired and needing a gin when she gets home!!!!

My goodness me...I really don't know how she manages to do all that. Fatigue is a major problem for fibromyalgia also and my stepsister struggles so hats off to Hazel.
