This is the report from the European Patient Registry after asking those with rheumatological conditions to report weekly on symptoms, their disease control, changes made to medication and impact.

Thanks SnazzyD! I took part as well and didn’t think to share the findings.

Thanks SnazzyD. On Monday of this week I was not feeling well and in the middle of the night I was up with an upset stomach and sore throat. This continued into Wed. morning with the upset stomach and diarrhea so on Tuesday I had a Covid test which thank goodness came back negative. This report will be helpful in the future so that I do not go for testing to soon. I'm much better today, so I believe my body was reacting to too much activity and fun at Christmas. I was also beginning my DSNS taper from 14-13 mg of prednisone and had just ran out of my Hormone Replacement Cream. Thanks again.

Thank goodness, though we need to be mindful of false negatives. Being on Pred and having reduced stomach acid from stomach protecting meds make us more susceptible to gastric infections.
