COVID-19 testing research study in England

I have just received a letter from the NHS re the above. Has anybody else . I have agreed to take part.

Will be sent a kit which is to be collected by courier. Results to then follow in a wee.

I had a letter asking me to take part too. I received the test and did it and then it was collected by a courier. I had a letter about a week later saying my test was negative.

My daughter in law did during the first Lockdown & it was negative but they hadn’t been out through the door so that’s the result they were expecting.

They are doing this for statistical analysis.

Yes I did one a couple of weeks ago - no hassle. However a friend of mine also did one - non NHS I presume- and got paid for it, grr!
