Muscle spasm

I developed a very painful muscle spasm in my right thigh and hip just as I got out of bed this morning. Is this a side effect of Actemra?

It can be a side effect of prednisone. I suffered terribly when on high doses but not now.

Not sure I'd blame a single sudden episode of cramp on anything specific - other than maybe being unlucky in a movement! Pred does increase loss of magnesium, potassium and calcium in the urine and all of those being low can lead to muscle cramps - most likely is magnesium and supplements do make a difference.
