Hi all 👋 I have had pmr for three years, I am down to 1 mg prednisone, I still have manageable symptoms, but recently I have vertigo, the doctor believes it’s crystals moved in inner ear, could it be related to pmr? Has anyone here experienced this ?

BPPV can happen anyway, I don't think it is linked to PMR, but is he sure that's what it is? Has he tried doing an Epley manoeuvre to clear it?
The fact you mention still having symptoms does mean the underlying cause of the PMR is probably still active and there is a chance it could be GCA starting up - it can affect the 8th cranial nerve and cause ear symptoms including dizziness and hearing problems.
That’s concerning, should I increase prednisone to see if it helps?
Also I spoke to the doctor over the phone, I did try the Brant daroff exercise which made me feel sick.
Look up Epley Maneuver on youtube. It is pretty easy to master yourself and it did work for me totally after two tries.
