AA query follow up

Many thanks for the replies to my recent post. All helpful. I’ve spoken to the rheumy and been prescribed risedronate. Rugger has been taking this with no bad effects so it looks good. Btw, on the phone consultation I mentioned I had a slight headache. It’s really nothing much and a slight jaw ache which I’m sure is grinding my teeth at night. But the rheumy has called me in for an examination tomorrow. I wonder if she’s concerned about a resurgence of gca as I’ve reduced predisolone to 4mpd the lowest I’ve managed. Could this happen? Pretty good care I think.

Of course it can happen if illness is still active and you’re below the level of medication you need.

Hopefully it turns out not to be, but well done your Rheumy for prompt action.

Please keep us informed.
