I believe it was "Bob the Builder" who responded to my initial questions and said that he managed to switch from prednisone to leflunomide and I just wanted to know what dosage did he get down to in prednisone in order to make that transition. Many Thanks

You do not usually "make a transition" - when it is used it is used the same way as methotrexate. You start taking the putative steroid sparer medication while still on pred and then it should allow a simpler reduction of the pred dose. You may, or may not, get entirely off pred, the aim is to reduce the pred dose considerably.
