Our hearts go out to you. You have done everything that could possibly have been done to save your sight, and now it's just the awful waiting game. Let us know how everything works out for you.
Ooh that’s hard, especially seeing it laid bare like that; harsh reality up close and personal. Thank goodness there was some prompt action. Be kind to yourself (in a low carb fashion ) and wrap yourself in cotton wool if you can. 💐🐩 (That was the closest emoji I could find for the cotton wool)
That are doing a good job of caring for you. Wish the outcome had been better, but it’s a good thing your prompt action has prevented it from being worse. Hope you’re out there kayaking soon!
I’m so sorry there wasn't better news for you - but as Dorset Lady says, the prednisolone may well stem the damage - and the swift treatment you so sensibly got for yourself at the start if this frightening time certainly must have done that too. The very best of luck now and ongoing - like everyone on here, I’ll be thinking of you every day. Keep us posted. Love , Carrie
So sorry to hear, keep going and hang on in there. You will be OK, I have very little vision but I get by despite and you don't sound like no quitter x
