Good luck! A frozen shoulder is so painful. I had one when I broke my shoulder a few years ago. I was given some gentle physio exercises too.
Please DO bother the GP. If it is frozen shoulder it could get so much worse by not being correctly diagnosed and managed. The same applies to other potential diagnoses. They are working - and they should not be dealing with the Covid patients, anyone who suspects they have that has their own line.
You definitely have my sympathy. I didn’t get to a GP early enough and the pain and stiffness got a lot worse. So get to a GP either virtually or otherwise. If it is a frozen shoulder then once I got the pain/inflammation under control and went to the physio things started to improve. The best gadget the physio recommended to me was a shoulder pulley (available on line cheaply). It allowed me to do gentle stretching which then really helped. Took two months after that. I now do chair Pilates which keeps everything mobile. Good luck and hope you get it resolved soon.
I didn't want to bother GP with a frozen shoulder, so tried self help.
I now have two metal shoulders after very painful operations. One of the didn't work anyway, so I can't use my left arm.
Be warned!
