Pred dose mistake

Hi,

I am currently on 10mg of preds per day, I take 5mg in the morning and 5mg in the evening. I've been using up a couple of boxes of 2.5mg tablets as that's all they had last time I got my prescription. This evening I opened a new box of preds and took 2 after dinner. I then realised that the new box were 5mg not 2.5mg, so I have accidentally doubled this evenings dose!

Should I skip tomorrow mornings dose to balance it out?

No - enjoy the day and go back to normal with the next dose. There is no guarantee the effect will last long enough to take you 48 hours. It's no big deal.

I agree with just go back to the usual. I did it at 13mg and had a really good day!!
