On missing a dose of prednisone

Every once in a while when I go to take my morning dose of prednisone (4 mg) I discover that I didn't take it the previous morning. I then just go ahead with my regular 4 mg dose. I have never had any reaction from missing a dose. I'm curious if this is typical of others. Thank you.

I always know when I miss a dose. But never been down to 4mg yet. I have seen the question before so obviously some do. It could be your adrenal glands are playing nicely and your PMR isn't as active and may be going into remission. 🤫🤞

The antiinflammatory effect can last up to 36 hours or more in some people. I used to take a double dose of pred on alternate days at one time and it worked fine.

It might be a sign you can reduce a bit further though!!
