Hello, Since being in lockdown, we’ve really come to appreciate many of our national institutions a lot more ( in addition to the real heroes of course - NHS, delivery drivers, supermarket workers, teachers, care workers, bin men..... and so many other people we should be so grateful to).
I’m sure other people will have suggestions but we’ve discovered “National Theatre Home” which lets you stream (free) a different play each week. If anyone is interested, here is a link to the schedule - this week it’s Benedict Cumberbatch in Frankenstein , but they have a wide range from comedy to Shakespeare.

The Royal Academy is also streaming different art exhibitions - so far, we’ve looked at “Hockney”, and “Monet to Matisse”. I’ve even got my 91 year old mother ( who lives alone, 125 miles from me) watching on her tablet.
Here is a link to the Hockney exhibition

I understand that this might not seem appropriate for this forum, but anything that can relieve the stresses of isolation must help, eh?
I bought a ukulele on-line- very inexpensive, and even for a complete novice with arthritic hands, pretty easy to get some rudimentary tunes- not quite George Formby yet, but it keeps me busy.
Take care everyone. Xx
